Rule 93
Matters to be mentioned in the technical details of the construction work
When mentioning the technical details of the construction work in the tender documents, the following things should be mentioned as necessary:-
(a) scope and purpose of the proposed construction work,
(b) the physical nature and condition of the construction site,
(c) Design, construction, equipment installation
of the proposed construction work Description of work such as (erection), production, connection (installation),
(d) Bill of Quantities containing estimated quantity of each unit item of construction work,
(e) If there is an impact on the environment due to the construction work, the description of such impact and the criteria to be adopted to reduce such impact,
(f) Special technical specification related to mechanical, sanitary and plumbing and electrical connection work if required,
(g) Detailed description of equipment and spare parts to be supplied,
(h) Statements regarding assurance of expected performance or quality,
(i) Inspection and testing to be done at various stages of construction work,
(j) Completion test,
(k) The technical documents to be provided by the builder after the completion of the construction work, the as-built map, equipment operation manual as required,
(operati· manual),
(l) inspection and performance test to be done by the local body to accept the construction work,
(d) Schedule of time for commencement and completion of construction work,
(d) Other necessary matters determined by the concerned local body.
